 I'm sitting hear laughing at the fact that Corbett's 6 foot 1 and, if he's
6 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; foot 1, tell him to get out of the hole he's standing in or else to get off
his knees -- and get Hank Pearson back to do that column because there was a
guy that didn't stick up for nobody. He just told a story. He wasn't always
talking about the IrishYes, about the police officers riding the bus in
Wilkes-Barre, honestly, I think this has to be the biggest joke. I think the
mayor down there borderlines on working for Barnum Bailey already. I mean, I
can't believe this is going on. He's going to turn out to be the
laughingstock. Oh God. At least we're getting a good laugh out of the deal. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I have two very worthwhile projects I would like to mention and maybe one
of the area legislators can pick up on this. The Eighth Street Bridge in
Wyoming -- a little two-lane highway connecting it onto 315 and the Pittston
Bypass connecting it onto the Cross Valley or the boulevard. Someone please
ask them why we can't do these two projects. They seem like very worthwhile
projects. I think they would be non-expensive, not like the Cross Valley --
nowhere near that price. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'm just calling to say the story that the Wyoming Valley Health Care
System is filled up can not possibly be true. There are three empty wings in
Nesbitt Memorial Hospital that could easily be converted back to patient use. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 They're sitting there empty. Patients should insist on being admitted into
these hospitals. There are beds. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Last year, I contacted Laflin Borough and they said that Laflin Road it's
called, that they were going to fix it. It was the most holed highway probably
in the whole Valley here. I just beseech anyone from The Times Leader to go up
there and take a look at this Laflin Road after they fixed it. They fixed
about 20 feet of it. The rest of the road is nothing but potholes. They're
gigantic. They don't even put dirt in them. We have to ask Laflin if they
intend to get a state grant or something to put bridges over these holes.
That's how big they are. They seem like they're going to let them (get) big
enough to (put) bridges on them. They were supposed to fix this road last
year. I wish someone would question someone from Laflin Borough and what
happened last year and do they intend to put bridges over these roads. I would
like someone from the newspaper to take a ride on this road. It runs parallel
to Wesley Village into Laflin. You have to see this road. You should actually
take the camera with you when you go there. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'm calling from Nanticoke. I'm calling in reference about the handicapped
signs in Nanticoke City. I'd like to know why the chief of police doesn't do
anything about them, because the people who move out of Nanticoke take the
handicapped signs with them. And that goes for you (name deleted). You went to
Hazleton, bring the handicapped sign back. I live on Norwood Street, and I
can't get a handicapped sign, but you can get one. You're not handicapped.
Bring it back or the police will come and pick it up, and you'll get arrested. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
