Zigmund Bockowski February 18, 1997 Zigmund Bockowski, 82, of Park Avenue &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Towers, Wilkes-Barre, died Tuesday at the Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn
Jan. 23, 1915 in Riverside, N.J., he was the son of the late John and Stella
Sydlowski Bockowski. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He attended Hanover High School and was employed as a baker by King's
College, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Irzyinski Bockowski; a
brother, Edmund Bockowski; a sister, Sabina Bantell. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a daughter, Gloria Metrunich, Bear Creek; sons, Edmund
Bockowski, Philadelphia; Gerald Bockowski, Lake-Lehman; Joseph Bockowski,
Wilkes-Barre; a granddaughter. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Arrangements are by the Luther M. Kniffen, Inc., Funeral Home, 465 S. Main
St., Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
