WILKES-BARRE- First it was two police cruisers. Now it's a new water tank
for a fire engine. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes-Barre Mayor Tom McGroarty said the city's public works employees
will install the tank in a Nanticoke fire engine to help that city's fire
department bring its equipment up to standards. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; "I think you've got to do what's right," McGroarty said. "All the towns
should help each other out like this." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 McGroarty said Nanticoke is paying for the tank, but the financially
strapped city doesn't have the equipment or facilities to install it. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 "If Nanticoke had to install it, they would have to contract a company to
do the work for a lot more than we could do it for here," McGroarty said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 This is the second time in two weeks that Wilkes-Barre has offered to help
with the neighboring city's public safety needs. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The city loaned Nanticoke two police cruisers about two weeks ago when two
of Nanticoke's cruisers broke down and could not be repaired. The city plans
to use Wilkes-Barre's cruisers until February or March. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Nanticoke Fire Chief Bill Ives could not be reached for comment. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
