PITTSTON TWP.- Two airlines are adding flights from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton
International Airport. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 USAir Express will add three additional flights starting Feb. 15, Executive
Director Barry Centini told the Bi-County Board of Commissioners on Thursday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A flight to Pittsburgh will leave the airport at 7 p.m. and arrive in
Pittsburgh at 8:26 p.m. daily. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The airline is also adding two flights to Philadelphia. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Beginning March 1, Comair will add a flight to Cincinnati, departing at
10:05 a.m. and arriving at 11:45 a.m. A return flight will leave Cincinnati at
10:45 p.m. and arrive at the local airport at 12:15 a.m. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The new flights offered by Comair and USAir Express will add 158 departure
seats per day for area travelers. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In addition, United Express is hoping to begin local roundtrip flights to
Chicago's O'Hare International Airport in April. American Eagle filed a
petition with the federal government earlier this year to begin flights to
Chicago. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In other business: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Assistant Airport Director and Business Manager Wy Gowell said 227,457
passengers boarded planes in 1996, compared to 240,980 in 1996, a drop of 5.6
percent. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A majority (58 percent) of passengers used USAir, while Comair grabbed a
14.3 percent share of passengers. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The commissioners approved the purchase of a $19,947 vehicle for Centini.
