 January 14, 1998 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Cecile H. Schraeder Kash, 92, of Provincial Towers, Wilkes-Barre, and &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Nanticoke Villa, died Wednesday at Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn in
Glen Lyon, Newport Township, she was daughter of the late Joseph and Otylie
Brisky Schraeder. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She spent her early years in Glen Lyon and was a member of St. Adalbert's
Church in Glen Lyon. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She resided in Berwick before moving to Provincial Towers, Wilkes-Barre,
and Nanticoke Villa. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a graduate of Newport Township High School and Bloomsburg State
Teachers College. She was a member of the Pennsylvania State Education
Association. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed as a teacher for Newport Township schools, including 12
years teaching first grade and eight years teaching third grade. She retired
in 1971. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She and her late husband, Alfred, were the owners and operators of the
Flagship Restaurant, Berwick. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, in 1991; and several
brothers and sisters. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son, Gene, Dunwoody, Ga.; grandchildren Brian, Michael and
Jennifer Kash; a brother, Dr. Gene Schraeder, Pleasantville, N.J.; and several
nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
