Clinton backed, vilified on Paula Jones issue &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wednesday's NewsTalk question asked, ``What should the president do about &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Paula Jones? Settle her claims and apologize? Continue to fight her? Why?'' &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Here are some of the responsesContinue to fight her. I think she's only
after him to ruin his name because he didn't pay attention to her. I think
she's only after him to try to be brave and get her picture and a write-up in
the paper. I wish he'd continue to fight her; he seems to be more of a man
than she is. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 President Clinton should continue to fight Paula Jones, she's unpatriotic,
to say the least. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He should settle her claims and apologize. Why drag the country through
that? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 No, I don't think the president should apologize. She's nothing but that
four-letter word. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Well the option that Clinton has, and has had on any number of topics, is
to simply tell the truth. He won't exercise that option, because he hasn't
told the truth on any number of other things. Even his most steadfast
supporters in papers such as The Washington Post or The New York Times, even
they, after all this time, have finally realized that basically he's simply
disingenuous at heart. He's not going to tell the truth about the Paula Jones
incident or anything else. It's his nature; it's his character. What he did
about the draft, his statements about what he did in anti-war demonstrations
at Oxford, in everything he's ever done, he's been dishonest, and he's always
going to be. That's him. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I would fight her all the way to the end. I think that she's just a pawn in
the hands of extreme conservative right-wing groups, and I think it's actually
tragic that they're continuing to embarrass the president. We've had
Watergate, Travelgate and now we have Bimbogate. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I wouldn't apologize to her and I wouldn't settle her claims. Her demands
are too high. I don't know too much about the legal bit here, but where was
she the morning after the night before? That's the important question. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Paula Jones is after money and the president shouldn't apologize or pay her
a cent. She seems unbalanced to me. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'd like to say in reference to the Paula Jones case, President Clinton is
concerned about what his legacy as president will be. Well, he needs to think
no longer. He's immoral, he's indecent, he's a thief, as in stealing the 1996
election. He's corrupt, as in bankrupting the DNC treasury to steal that
election, and that's not even going into all the draft dodger business and the
liberal socialist programs that he tried to saddle the country with. All this
is as of today- wait 10 years, like it took history to shine the light on John
Kennedy. Democrats have a propensity for taking men who are no better than
pond scum and trying to make them idols. I say, remember the First
Commandment. History will say Paula Jones was the spark of light that shone
through the darkness of filth that was the Bill Clinton presidency. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He should settle a claim for $4 million; he should apologize not only to
Paula Jones but the whole damn country,
