an open house on Tuesday to discuss video-based bachelor's degree programs in
hotel, restaurant and institutional management and nursing, that have been
tailored to the needs of working adults. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The open house will be held from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m., 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and
6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Snowdate is Jan. 22. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 Aqua Exercise Classes: 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. or 7 to 7:45 p.m. Monday and
Wednesday; 11:15 to noon or 7 to 7:45 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays; 11:15 to
noon on Fridays. Arthritis Plus classes are held 9:45 to 10:30 on Tuesdays and

 Progressive Swim Lessons: Classes are open to children ages, 6 and older.
Class size ratio, five students to one instructor. Polliwog is a beginner
class held from 4 to 4:45 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. or
11:14 to noon on Saturday. Guppy and Minnow are intermediate classes held 4:45
to 5:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 11:15 to noon on Saturdays. Fish and Shark

 Recycling stickers &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Swoyersville Borough residents are advised the 1998 recycling stickers are
available. The stickers are $10 and due no later than Feb. 28. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The recycling sticker is necessary for the collection and picking up of
yard waste, leaves and appliances. The stickers can be purchased at the
Borough Building, Maltby Pharmacy, Rich's Mobil and Hospodar's Garage during
normal business hours. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Residents are reminded that the borough garbage bags must be tied in order
for the bags to be collected. Any bag, including ones in garbage cans, that is
not tied will not be picked up. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Do not park cars on streets during a snowfall. The plows cannot get close
to the curb to remove snow effectively. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 Luther King Jr. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Tunkhannock Area Middle School will hold a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr., from 8:45 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The program, American Hero Day, features eighth grade students presenting
American heroes and hometown heroes who have influenced their lives. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 Junior Mozart Club accepting new members &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Junior Mozart Club, Wilkes-Barre, under the sponsorship of the Senior
Mozart Club has completed the first segment of its club year with a Christmas
program presented at the Manor Care Nursing Home. Members entertained guests
with solos and seasonal songs. The Junior Club as well as the Senior Club are
both members of the State and National Music Federation of Music Clubs. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Joanne Herron is president of the Senior Club. Leigh Edgerton is the
president of the Junior Club. Rosa Khalife McCracken is head counselor with
