SAYSO &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'm calling in reference to the story you ran Wednesday concerning Mr.
Patrick &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Judge. Well, I agree that Mr. Judge has been very active within our
community, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 but feel that since he's chosen to relocate to Lackawanna County he must
certainly relinquish his sanitary authority, convention center authority and &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Republican Party offices. To allow otherwise would be only another example
of a politician thumbing their nose at the taxpayer and ratepayer. Perhaps,
since Mr. Judge's concern is with staying active in his birth community, I
might begin to see him at St. Vincent's helping us with a less political
agenda. Also, I would hope that Mr. Judge wouldn't decide to further embarrass
himself by renting a paper apartment in Forty Fort. Please let's not put the
council and mayor in a position of enforcing that decision. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Peter Paul Olszewski, congratulations district attorney on your suit
against Fred Williams and WILK Radio. Perhaps Williams and station WILK will
learn the lies about people can't be used in their best interest to make money
for the station. Press on, let's get this scourge out of our Valley. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 I'm reading the Jan. 15th paper this morning, I see where Peter Paul
Olszewski and the other politicians are getting a little nervous and are
starting to put some suits against Williams. Not everything that Williams says
is true, but let's be realistic here in this Wyoming Valley. There are more
corrupt politicians supposedly leading our county, than there are honest
politicians. If someone would just simply sit down and start to print
everything about these corrupt politicians, we would need three and four
editions of The Times Leader daily. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'm calling about the crossword puzzle, that's something I look forward to
every day in your newspaper. I really like it because it has a great degree of
difficulty, but there's only one problem. I'm getting a little bit older, my
eyes aren't as good as they used to be, and I was wondering if there's any way
you could possibly make this a little larger. I have to sit really under a
lamp to kind of get the words, so if you could just make it a little bit
bigger, I'm sure it wouldn't only help me, it would help many, many people out
there. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

putting the squeeze on some other feature on that page. We're working on a
good compromise. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I know this isn't going to be in the SAYSO because I've been calling so
many times about different things, but it's not in. I've been reading the
paper here about the district attorney, and I think he knew everything about
everybody that was going on in the courthouse. ...Some are still getting their
pay, and look at the drugs and everything in there stealing. ...I think
Williams is right. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In regard to the article about Fred Williams concerning the lawsuit from
the district attorney. DA's lawyers says Williams' remarks were "out and out
lies." Well, what else would you expect from your own attorney? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I read in today's paper where Peter Paul Olszewski is suing Freddie
Williams, radio talk show host. Well, Peter Paul can sue me too. I think he's
incompetent. ... I think the man will do anything to put a feather in his cap.
I just can't wait so I can be a witness for Freddie. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'm calling about your article today about "DA sues Williams, WILK for
millions." I'm not a fan of Fred the big "Vopper Williams" but I do appreciate
the right of free speech in this country and the right to express oneself. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'd like to know how all of these people from inner cities are finding out
that Wilkes-Barre is such a wonderful place to live? What is there, a map in a
bus station bathroom with our city circled in red? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'm calling to suggest to your SAYSO readers and writers that they tune in
a program called "Windsor Park Stories" on WVIA at 7 p.m. on Sundays. They
will be so uplifted it will enable them to deal with all the jerks that they
knew and still know. It's about ordinary people who have lived extraordinary
lives. I think you'll like it. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I want to congratulate St. Al's principal Mary Jo Walsh on her stance for
the dress code. It's about time these kids were put on notice that dressing
like this is intolerable. Pants hanging down around their butts, makes no
sense at all. It's about time they did this. The public schools can learn
something from this lady. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Peter Paul Olszewski in suing Fred Williams has created an incident which
makes him too controversial for the governor to appoint him as judge.
Furthermore it will backfire in his face, for he will never be elected to any
other office in this county or statewide. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 How do you say nepotism in Wilkes-Barre City? Mayor Tom McGroarty, Jerry
McGroarty and now Jerry McGroarty's son, working at the Ice-A-Rama. How many
more McGroarty friends and relatives are on Wilkes-Barre City's payroll?
That's how you say nepotism in Wilkes-Barre City. Mayor McGroarty isn't for
the taxpayers, he's for the McGroarty family. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I've been following the NAACP/Ashley cop debacle, and I thought everything
was settled. Now the NAACP is stirring up more resentment, and they're
actually creating more harm for race relations in this area, all over a
namecalling. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 You had printed in the paper where the high school students are going to
college at a pretty good percentage rate, but that's not a good indicator. How
many of them finish college? They have no alternative in this area, there's no
good jobs after high school, so most likely most of them go to college because
there's no good opportunity in the area for anything else. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'm convinced you have blacks or black sympathizers working on your SAYSO
column, otherwise why aren't there more criticism of blacks printed, or don't
you believe in the "freedom of the press?" &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 I'd like to comment in Mr. Martinelli in reference to the seventh-grade
Christmas concert. It's unfortunate that the parent of the sixth-grade concert
didn't enjoy Mr. Martinelli's performance. However, many of the parents I
talked to after the seventh-grade concert did, and my children were very
happy. Not only were they in the audience, some were also in the play and they
were very thrilled with Mr. Martinelli's performance. He did a lot to break
the ice, and I think he's doing a wonderful job. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Come on Mayor McGroarty, who do you think you're kidding? You know you're
going to run again for mayor. Your ego, you have to keep it going, you have to
keep your name all over the town. You also want that pension. Come on
McGroarty, what's going to happen to your brother and everybody else if you
don't run for mayor again, and all your so-called friends? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
