Fire volunteer refutes caller's charge of discrimation in Back Mountain &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I am writing in response to a comment in SAYSO about discrimination in the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Back Mountain Emergency Services (Dec. 28). The individual who called
either has no idea what he is talking about or has received unreliable
informationNext year, I will mark 18 years of service with the Trucksville
Volunteer Fire Company located in Kingston Township. Kingston Township is the
gateway to the Back Mountain. I have served as sergeant of arms, secretary,
vice president and president. I have been to a number of classes by
Pennsylvania Emergency Management, the Office of Fire Safety Services and the
state Fire Academy. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 We volunteers do not receive any compensation from the township or people
we help. It is a volunteer organization. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Trust me when I say there is no discrimination in the Back Mountain
Emergency Services. I am Afro American. I have never felt discriminated
against, and I have never seen any type of discrimination toward anyone in any
