 January 21, 1998 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Michael Cebrick of Church Street, Swoyersville, died Jan. 21 at the
Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains TownshipBorn in
Swoyersville, he was son of the late Wasil and Anastasia Cebrick. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Swoyersville. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a veteran of World War II, serving as an Army engineer in the
Pacific Zone. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of the American Legion Post 644, Swoyersville, and the
Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kingston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by brothers John, Charles, Tom and Stephen. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his wife, the former Helen (Sissy) Gilmore; a son, Michael
Gilmore Cebrick, Dover, Del.; daughters Barbara Ann Koran, Elizabethtown, Ky.;
Mac Pukatch, Luzerne; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers
Paul and A. Henry, both of Swoyersville; sisters Louise Stacey, Union, N.J.;
Anna Stesney, Swoyersville; Mary Sobeeck, Tamarac, Fla.; Rose Stankiewicz and
Christine Staskiewicz, both of Mountainside, N.
