ADAM JACOBCHIK &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 November 29, 1998 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Adam A. Jacobchik, 90, of Center Street, Old Forge died Sunday at Mercy
Hospital, Scranton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Born in Dupont, he was the son of the late George and Julia Madura
Jacobchik. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He attended Dupont schools. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Before his retirement he was employed by Fairfield Knitting Mills,
Connecticut. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He resided in Stanford, Conn., for 29 years before returning to
Pennsylvania 24 years ago. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Duryea. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Helen Petro, on Nov. 30,
1987; brothers, Stanley, John, Tony and Joseph Jacobchik. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his daughter, Sister Jean Jacobchik of the Bernardine
Franciscan Sisters; sisters, Joan Malik, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Mary Wasson, Florida;
Rose Worosella, West Pittston; nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday from the Bernard J. Piontek
Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea, with a Mass of Christian Burial at
10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Duryea, with the Rev. Albert
Liberatore officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Duryea. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Vigil Services will be held Tuesday eveni
