I Spied An Unusual Nativity Scene Recently During A Leisurely Walk. The 
Figures Of Joseph And Mary Were Present, But Jesus Was Not. The Crib Was 
Empty. Next To The Display Stood An Imposing Figure Of Santa Claus.

ANGELINE FINNEN &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 December 22, 1998 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Angeline Palermo Finnen, of John Street, Kingston died Tuesday in the
Hospice Unit of the VNA at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Vincenza
Oriente Palermo. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a graduate of the former Wilkes-Barre High School, now Coughlin
High School, and lived in Kingston for the past 45 years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed at Bergmann's Department Store for many years until
retiring 30 years ago. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, David Finnen, in 1987; brothers,
Jerry Palermo and Lou Palermo, and sisters, Theresa Reabuck and Mary Mulhern. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her sisters, Julia Pineno, Ann Reinhard and Edith Bojarcik,
all of Forty Fort; and Helen Semanek, Swoyersville; stepson, David Finnen,
California; and nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Recupero Funeral Home,
406 Susquehanna Ave., West Pittston with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30
a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
