Two teens from Kingston and Plains Township charged with stealing from cars

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A fire at a vacant house on Blackman Street that damaged two adjacent residences on Monday was intentionally set, Fire Chief Jay Delaney said.</p><p>Delaney said firefighters responded to 338 Blackman St. at 10:52 a.m. finding heavy fire in the rear of the vacant house.</p><p>Flames extended to another vacant house at 340 Blackman St. that sustained moderate exterior damage, Delaney said.</p><p>Heat from the fire damaged the exterior vinyl siding at an occupied residence at 336 Blackman St.</p><p>Delaney said there were no injuries.</p><p>An investigation by city fire inspector Capt. Robert Suchoski determined the fire was intentionally set, Delaney said.</p><p>The fire chief credited firefighters for quickly extinguishing the blaze due to the close proximity of the three houses.</p><style>
