Mandy Xu made four saves in the shutout.COLLEGES HONORS Two inductees for King&#8217;sFormer King&#8217;s women&#8217;s basketball star Joanne Polakoski and outgoing wrestling coach Ned McGinley were both named to the 2017 Middle Atlantic Conference Hall of Fame class.Polakoski, a Meyers grad, was a three-time Division III first-team All-American who still stands as the program&#8217;s all-time leading scorer with 1,971 points.McGinley recently announced his retirement after 48 years as the longest-tenured college wrestling coach in the nation. He had 455 dual meet victories and coached 13 national finalists.All-MAC lacrosse namedBoth Misericordia lacrosse squads had seven players receive All-Freedom Conference honors, including eight total first-team selections. Goalie Katie McLoughlin was named women&#8217;s Defensive Player of the Year while Kaila Quinlivan was picked as women&#8217;s Rookie of the Year. Jim Ricardo won the men&#8217;s Coach of the Year Award.For the women, McLoughlin, Quinlivan, Olivia Garcia, Liz Mulvey and Brianna Ladner were all first-team selections.
