Police: Suspect in Rite Aid robbery called 911 on himself

<p>Wyoming Valley West High School music students recently participated in district festivals in chorus, orchestra and band throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association.</p><p>Sarah Lechak, Ryder Milia, Ashanti McKinney, Gabe Gillespie, Matt Kaminski, Zachary Brandreth, Summer McMichael, Chase Santayana, Michala Dennis, Ian Cavalari, Jaidin Broody-Walega, Aaron Ditri, and Gabby Razvillas were selected to participate for District Chorus. Of those students, Lechak, Milia, Gillespie, Brandreth, McMichael, Santayana, Dennis, Ditri and Cavalari advanced on to Region IV Chorus.</p><p>Wyoming Valley West was also well represented at the District Orchestra festival with attending students: Aria DeSilva, Andrea Shaw, Jess Krulikowski, Donjeta Ahmetaj, Michala Dennis, Juliette Pettersen, Cassie Dierolf, Alyssa Pisano, Stepan Prodanets, Kristin Pisano, Logan Bowling, Logan Romanowski, Ben Bowen, Shelly Duran, Brandy Varner, Chloe Inniss, Brendan Woods, Brandon Valdez, Ian Cavalari, John Shimp, Zachary Brandreth, and Jillian Dunn. After auditioning there, DeSilva, Shaw, Ahmetaj, Dennis, Pettersen, Dunn, Pisano, Woods, and Valdez will move on to Regional Orchestra.</p><p>Zach Brandreth, Ella Kurbanov, Adam Hudock, Brandon Lantz, Logan Cary, Michael Bogdon, Rachel Fenner, Ameilia Favata, Brandon Valdez, John Shimp, Brendan Woods and Ian Cavalari were selected to participate at District Band. After auditions held there, Brandreth, Cavalari, Shimp, Fenner, Favata, Woods, Cary, and Hudock will move on to Region Band.</p><p>Mrs. Jill Antall is the high school choral director, Mrs. Christine Eyer is the high school orchestra director and Mr. Andrew Kolojejchick is the high school band director for Wyoming Valley West.</p><style>
