<p>HAZLETON &#8212; A man was caught with 1,800 bags of suspected heroin in Hazleton on Wednesday, police say.</p><p>Daniel Scalise, 20, of Hazleton, was locked up at the county jail for lack of $50,000 cash bail on drug charges that include possession with intent to deliver, court records show.</p><p>Chief of Police Jerry Speziale says Scalise was spotted while officers searched for a juvenile in a separate case that involved a firearm.</p><p>Scalise and another man tried to flee but were both detained, police say.</p><p>The second man was eventually released. </p><style>
