 January 16, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Victor Bond, 77, of Meshoppen, died Thursday at the Tyler Memorial
Hospital, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 TunkhannockBorn Oct. 27, 1919 in Bayonne, N.J., he was the son of the late
Frank and Sophie Mateuse Bond. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He served with the U.S. Coast Guard in the European and Pacific Theaters
from 1941 to 1946. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Before retiring in 1982, he was employed as a machine operator by the
Prodalin Co., Matawan, N.J. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his wife of 54 years, the former Helen Amelchenko, Meshoppen;
a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Kristine) Kipe, Long Valley, N.J.; a sister, Mrs.
Helen Buday, Flemington, N.J.; two granddaughters. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial services will be held on a later date at the convenience of the
family. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Arrangements are by the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main Street, Meshoppen. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
